There is no warehouse behind this shop. No boxes of mediums waiting to be sold, no end-of-season pile to get rid of. When an order comes in, that one piece is printed and sewn up, and then it goes to you.
What that costs you
Time, mostly. Production takes a few business days before anything ships, and then normal transit on top. Exact windows are in our shipping policy. If you are ordering for a specific date, work backwards from that and give yourself room.
It also means we cannot pull an order back once it is in production. If you need to change a size or an address, tell us fast — the contact form is the quickest route.
What it buys
Nothing gets overproduced, and nothing gets destroyed unsold. That is the honest reason, and it is not a small one in apparel.
The other reason is selfish: it means we can keep adding designs without betting a stock order on which ones will sell. A graphic that only forty people in the world want is still worth making.
What we print on
We use two blanks, both unisex:
- T-shirts — Bella+Canvas 3001. 100% combed and ring-spun cotton, 4.2 oz/yd² (142 g/m²), side-seamed, shoulder-to-shoulder taping, pre-shrunk. Heather colours contain some polyester.
- Sweatshirts — Cotton Heritage M2480, a heavyweight crew neck.
These are not the cheapest blanks available. The margin on a good blank is worse and the shirt is better after ten washes, which seemed like the right trade.
Get the size right the first time
Because each piece is made for you, sizing is the one thing worth five minutes before you buy rather than after. The most reliable method is to measure a shirt you already own and like, laid flat, and compare it to the garment measurements on our size guide — both blanks are listed in inches and centimetres.
If you are between sizes, size up. If something arrives misprinted, damaged or simply not what you ordered, that is on us and it is covered by our refund policy.
